Appetizers, entrees and drinks were all fabulous but the ambiance of this old school relic is the other reason to visit. Just such a classic cozy establishment from 1936. Service was old school and "on point". Will surely return.

The food was amazing and the service friendly an excellent!! The charming of the old days give the ambiance something very special in New York City

Sevilla has been a mainstay over many years in NYC, having been here so many times and overdue for a review. Sevilla is old school goodness. It's been around for decades and for good reasons. It's a nice West Village corner location with plenty of outdoor seating to boot. You walk in and are immediately greeted by this warm and old school decor. I have always been immediately seated, unless it's packed out. Waitstaff are not overly friendly, but they are always respectful and professional. Consistent is how best to describe your experience here. Their paella is always great and I have had most of their seafood and seafood mixed varieties. Always a hit and paella is their strong suit, but this time I tried something different: their veal in white wine sauce and mushrooms. The bread arrives and the half pitcher of red sangria. The bread is good, but they serve the butter in those foil capped plastic packets that are nothing special, but not bad. The sangria was a tad off their usual excellence, but still better than most. They make the sangria to order and usually have lots of fruit in it. I order it every time. The house salad comes with their French dressing and iceberg lettuce with a few slices of tomato. Fresh , but this is not where Sevilla shines. The veal was very good and tender. Two thin slices of veal were a little underwhelming compared to the always generous servings of paella to which I have become accustomed at Sevilla. At $36 or $37 the veal should be more generously portioned, but that white wine sauce is delicious and the side of rice with which it is served soak up all that saucy goodness. The mushrooms add more flavor and this dish would bear repeating if it were more generous. I also ordered to go their rice and chicken, which is essentially a chicken and sausage paella with some veggies. It is a generous serving of comfort food which two people can share, as is the case with all their paella. Paella is a great value at Sevilla and is one of the reasons people return to Sevilla frequently. The chicken and sausage were excellent and flavorful, especially the sausage. Experience old world charm and please your palate at Sevilla. You'll become a regular from your first bite. Four consistent stars!

Aside from a salad that had way too much dressing on it, everything we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend anything in green sauce and the calamari. Also the house wine from Spain was delicious,

Seems like a popular and crowded place. With a number of regulars. I didn't know there was as wide a variety of paella as they had on their menu! The paella was good, but it felt like the skimped on the saffron. We had a singer with guitar come and serenade us, which was mildly entertaining.

Sevilla Restaurant & Bar offers an authentic taste of Spanish cuisine in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The paella is flavorful and generously portioned, while the appetizers like mussels and empanadillas are standout dishes. The wine selection, especially the Spanish reds, is impressive, and the sangria is refreshingly perfect. Service is attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. With lively energy, great food, and a warm ambiance, Sevilla is a must-visit for a memorable Spanish dining experience.
